Day 1 of Buddha in Caves Tour
New Delhi
With lots of excitement in heart assemble at Delhi airport and our competent and dedicated Holidayspoints staff would take you to your pre-booked hotel where you can freshen up before proceeding. 

Day 2 of Buddha in Caves Tour
New Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of the historic city of old Delhi including the magnificent Red Fort, Jama Masjid, largest mosque in Asia, both built by Shahjahan, Rajghat-memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. In the afternoon, move towards New Delhi to visit the famous Humanyun Tomb, Qutab Minar, India Gate, Birla Mandir, and Bahai Temple.

Day 3 of Buddha in Caves Tour
New Delhi - Lucknow
Post breakfast, head towards the New Delhi railway station to board the train for Lucknow. On reaching there, the Holidayspoints staff would drive you to Balrampur. Enroute visit Sravasti (Sahet-Mahet) capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala which is now an active centre for Buddhism. On arriving at Balrampur, check in at the prebooked hotel.

Day 4 of Buddha in Caves Tour
Lumbini - Kushinagar
On the 4th day of Buddha in Caves after breakfast, leave for an excursion to Lumbini, the place where Buddha was born. In the evening, proceed to drive to Kushinagar - the Buddha caves place where Buddha passed into Parinirvana. With the assistance of Holidayspoints staff, check in to your hotel and rest.

Day 5 of Buddha Caves Tour
Kushinagar - Patna
Post breakfast, leave for the visit to Ramabha stupa standing on the place where Buddha was cremated, Natha Kumarka Kot enshrining the large figure of Buddha caves in Kushinagar. Later, move ahead to 2500 year old ancient city of Patna via Vaishali where Lord Buddha preached his last sermons. Proceed to visit stupas holding pitcher containing ashes of Buddha and the Ashok pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka to mark places sanctified by Buddha. On arrival at Patna, check in at the prebooked hotel.

Day 6 of Buddha Caves Tour
Patna - Bodhgaya
After the overnight stay and having a great breakfast at the hotel, leave for Bodhgaya. Enroute visit Rajgir where Lord Buddha spent 12 years and the first Buddhist council was held here & Nalanda. Proceed for the local sightseeing of Gridhrakula, Sapataparni cave, Ajatsatru fort and Venuvana. On the way also pay a visit to Nalanda its monasteries and temples with impressive Buddhist & Hindu images. Arrive Bodhgaya and check in at the prebooked hotel. 

Day 7 of Buddha Caves Tour
Bodhgaya
Bodhgaya is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage centers where Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment under a Pipal tree after years of search for the truth and knowledge. The "Bodhi" tree Satabodhi temple, Japanese and Tibetan monasteries along with Magadha university museum are some of the famous sites to be visited.

Day 8 of Buddhist Caves Tour
Bodhgaya - Varanasi
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave for Varanasi. On reaching Varanasi check in at the prebooked hotel and take rest for rest of the day with time for some individual activities.

Day 9 of Buddhist Caves Tour
Varanasi - Sarnath
Early morning on the 9th day of Buddha in Caves trip, get ready for a boat ride on river Ganges and also experience the morning aarti. After breakfast, proceed for the city tour of Varanasi. In the afternoon, proceed for an excursion to Sarnath. Lord Buddha gave his first sermon over here. Also visit Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamek Stupa, and the 34 meter-high towers over the gardened heart of Sarnath and marks the spot where the Buddha is said to have preached the famous first sermon, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar and the Sarnath Museum.

Day 10 of Buddhist Caves Tour
New Delhi
After taking rest in the morning check out in the afternoon, and move towards the airport to board the flight for Delhi with beautiful reminiscences to treasure. On arrival at the international airport board flights back home.
