Day 1 of Buddha Nepal Tour
New Delhi
On arrival in Delhi you would be greeted and welcomed by Holidayspoints’ representative outside the baggage hall area at the airport and proceed to check in at the hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel. 

Day 2 of Buddha Nepal Tour
New Delhi - Agra
In the morning, post breakfast drive 203 kms to Agra and check-in at the pre-booked hotel. Later visit the world famous Taj Mahal, a memorial built by a grief stricken Emperor Shahjahan for his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal and drive through Agra Fort. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 of Buddha Nepal Tour
Lucknow
On the 3rd day fo Buddha's Trail with Nepal, drive 410 kms to Lucknow enroute visiting Sankasia, where it is believed that Buddha descended from heaven after giving sermon to his mother after 7 years of her death. Buddhist attractions in Sankasia are the Buddha temple, the Temple of Maya Devi, the ruins of Ashokan Elephant Pillar. Later continue journey to Lucknow and check in at the hotel on arrival.

Day 4 of Travel to Nepal
Varanasi
Early in the morning on 4th day of Buddha's Trail with Nepal, proceed to Varanasi and check-in at the hotel on arrival. Stay overnight at Varanasi Hotel.

Day 5 of Travel to Nepal
Varanasi - Sarnath
Early in the morning, leave for a boat ride to see the sun rise on the bathing Ghats. In the afternoon visit “Bharat Mata built in 1936 located at Kashi. Later proceed to Sarnath where Buddha delivered his first sermon.

Day 6 of Travel to Nepal
Bodhgaya
Post breakfast, visit Mahabodhi temple, Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha Statue, Niranjana River, Sujata temple across the Niranjana River. Also visit various other Buddhist temples in Bodhgaya. Stay overnight at the hotel in Bodhgaya.  

Day 7 of Travel to Nepal
Bodhgaya - Nalanda
On 7th morning post breakfast leave for Rajgir and Nalanda. Rajgir where Lord Buddha spent 12 years and the first Buddhist council was held, visit the Vulture Hill, World Peace Stupa, and Bamboo’s Garden. Continue the journey to Nalanda to visit the ruins of the world’s oldest University.

Day 8 of Travel to Nepal
Patna
Proceed to Patna enroute Vaishali where Buddha announced the approaching of his Mahaparinirvana. Also visit Ashokan Pillar, Bawan Pokhar temple, Buddha Stupa-I:, Buddha Stupa-II, Abhishek Pushkarn (Coronation tank, Kundalpur, Raja Vishal ka Garh, Shanti Stupa, World Peace Pagoda Stay overnight at hotel in Patna.

Day 9 of Travel to Nepal
Kushinagar - Lumbini
Early morning on 9th day of Buddha Nepal tour check-out and proceed to Kushinagar to visit Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges. Drive ahead to see Mahaparinirvana temple where Buddha took his last breath and Rambhar Stupa, the cremation site of Lord Buddha. In the afternoon drive 170 kms to Lumbini, Nepal, the Birth place of Lord Buddha and check-in at the pre-booked hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 of Travel to Nepal
Lumbini - Kapilavastu - Sravasti
After refreshing and having breakfast, leave for an excursion around Lumbini which is entirely Hindu, but numerous Buddhist temples and shrines from a range of nations are scattered around the holy site itself. Maya Devi Temple is the most important temple at Lumbini. After lunch leave for Sravasti enroute visit Kapilavastu - where Buddha spent his childhood and also explore the ruins of the Palaces there. Later continue the journey to Sravasti where Buddha spent his 24 monsoons and on arrival over there, check-in at the pre-booked hotel. In the evening move out to visit Jetvana and Ananda Bodhi Tree. Stay overnight at the hotel in Sravasti. 

Day 11 of Travel to Nepal
Lucknow
Early morning on 11th day of Buddha Nepal tour, check out from the hotel and drive to Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, extending along the banks of the River Gomati. Post lunch; proceed to the Railway station to board Shatabdi Express to Delhi at 15:35 hrs. On reaching Delhi proceed to check into the pre-booked hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel and relax.

Day 12 of Travel to Nepal
New Delhi
On the last day of the Buddha Nepal trip have breakfast and leave for local sightseeing of Delhi visiting, Lakshmi Narayan temple, Gandhi Museum. Drive past India Gate, Presidents' house "Rashtrapati Bhawan", the Government buildings and the Parliament house "Lok Sabha". Post lunch proceed to airport to connect flight for onward destination to your home city.
