Day 01 of Buddhist Holiday Tour

On your Arrival in New Delhi airport to start up with the Buddhist Holiday Tour, you would meet the Holidayspoints representative who would greet you with a grand welcome and would escort you to the pre-designated hotel in New Delhi. Check-in at the hotel and stay overnight. ![]()
Day 02 of Buddhist Holiday Tour
Lucknow
On the 2nd day of the Buddhist Holiday Tour, leave for Lucknow in the morning. Upon arrival at Lucknow Holidayspoints staff would drive you to Sravasti also known as Sahet-Mahet. Sravasti is renowned for the supernatural feats showed by Lord Buddha, sitting on a lotus, and for other stories that are linked with Buddha. It is said that Lord Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons at Sravasti. On reaching Sravasti check in at the designated hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 of Buddhist Holiday Tour
Sravasti - Lumbini
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel proceed for a sightseeing of Sahet Mahet, Jetvana Vihar and Buddhist temples. From Sravasti proceed to Lumbini in Nepalcheck in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 of Buddhist Holiday Tour
Lumbini - Kushinagar
Get ready for a sightseeing tour of Lumbini exploring Mayadevi temple, Ashokan Pillar, Buddhist temples, Pushkarni, sanctum sanctorum of Buddha's birthplace and stupas. In the afternoon proceed to Kushinagar. On reaching Kushinagar you will be transferred to hotel by the Holidaypoints representative. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 of Buddhist Holidays Tour
Kushinagar - Varanasi
In the morning move out to visit the Mahaparinirvana temple and the Ramabhar Stupa which is the cremation place of Lord Buddha at Kushinagar. Then proceed to Varanasi and check in at the hotel to stay overnight.
Day 06 of Buddhist Holidays Tour
Varanasi - Bodhgaya
Early in the morning on 6th day of the Buddhist holidays tour proceed to Ganga Ghats for a boat ride on the Ganges to see bathing and cremation rituals, the Bharat Mata temple, the Banaras Hindu University, Vishwanath temple. Move forward to Bodhgaya via Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha gave his first Sermon. Attractions at Sarnath include the Buddhist temple, Stupas, Archaeological museum, ruins of Dharmajajika Stupa and Mulgandhakuti Temple, where Lord Buddha is said to have rested and meditated.. On arrival at Bodhgaya, get transferred to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. ![]()
Day 07 of Buddhist Holidays Tour
Bodhgaya - Patna - New Delhi
On the last day of the Buddhist holidays tour visit to the Mahabodhi temple and other monuments and edifices associated with Buddhism in India. From Bodhgaya drive to Patna via Rajgir and Nalanda. Lord Buddha spent 12 years at Rajgir and the first Buddhist holidays council was held here. Sightseeing at Rajgir covers the Gridhakuta Hill, Bimbisara Jail and other Jain and Buddha monuments. From Rajgir you will be driven to Nalanda. On arrival at Patna move towards the airport to board flight for Delhi. At Delhi airport, continue your journey to your destination city.
