Day 01 : CHENNAI
Holidays Points staff will assist your boarding and lodging in Chennai on the first day of your South India Honeymoon Tour. Have a restful overnight stay at Chennai. Our trained staff will ensure that the newly weds have all the amenities available to them round the clock.

Day 02 : CHENNAI
After breakfast, go for the sightseeing of Vivekananda House and Museum, Kapaleshwar Temple, San Thom Cathedral, National Art Gallery, Anna zoological Park and Marina Beach.

Day 03 : CHENNAI-MAHABALIPURAM-KANCHIPURAM-TRICHY
Take excursions to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram after breakfast. Both of these locations are famous for their water side majestic temples. You will also visit rock cut Shore Temple which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Board train to Trichy in the evening.

Day 04 : TRICHY
Your South India Tour Package includes visits to Red Rock, Danish Church, Ganapati Temple and Lord Robert Clive's House. All these structures are testimony to the diverse but harmonious life style of this small town people.

Day 05 : TRICHY-TANJORE-MADURAI
After breakfast, drive to Madurai village on way to Tanjore. You will get a chance to see the lifestyle of locals closely during your drive to Tanjore. Visit Brihadeswara Temple at Tanjore. Shop for exquisite handicrafts that you will like to own. Thereafter, proceed towards Madurai. .

Day 06 : MADURAI
Visit the famous Meenakshi Temple, Tirumala Nayak Palace and Tirupara Rock Temple. The temples are visited by a large number of faithfuls everyday and are especially decorated on festival days.

Day 07 : MADURAI-PERIYAR
After breakfast, visit Periyar National Park and spot tigers, wild boars and wild dogs in the sanctuary. The national park boasts of a large number of animal and bird species. The park is a favourite destination of wildlife lovers. Visit Western Ghats and enjoy boating in Pichola Lake on seventh day of your South India Honeymoon Tour.

Day 08 : PERIYAR-COCHIN
Drive to Kochi. View romantic sunset at Chinese Fishing Nets on the eighth day of your South India Honeymoon Tour. Retire to your fully furnished hotel accommodation at night. Enjoy exotic South Indian and continental cuisines.


Day 09 : COCHIN/FORT KOCCHI
Visit Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Portuguese Churches, Temples and Mosques. The monuments are testimony to spiritual life and equal respect accorded to all faiths by the Indians.

Day 10 : OCHIN-BANGLORE
Take flight to Bangalore after breakfast. In the afternoon, visit Lal Bagh, Cubbon Park and Vidhan Saudha in Bangalore. The monuments are visited by almost every tourist who comes to Bangalore.

Day 11 : ANGLORE-MYSORE
Proceed to Mysore. Visit the magnificent Mysore Palace, once the power seat of Tipu Sultan. Also visit Chamundi Hills, Chamundeshwari Temple, Vrindavan Garden and Art Gallery on eleventh day of your honeymoon in South India.

Day 12 : MYSORE
Take excursion to the ancient Belur and Halebid temples. The rock cut temples are architectural wonders and are still visited by a large number of faithfuls and tourists.

Day 13 : MYSORE-CHENNAI
Board train to Chennai in the afternoon.

Day 14 : CHENNAI-HOME
Do last minute shopping in the local markets and malls of Chennai. Relax and proceed for onward journey to your home town.
