Day 1 :
Bodhgaya
The road to Nirvana starts from Bodhgaya a place where Prince Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment. Bodhgaya is the place from where Buddhism started and the place speaks for itself. There are temples, monasteries all around this place. The Mahabodhi temple is located right at the place where under a Bodhi tree Gautama became Buddha. Day 2 : Bodhgaya- Nalanda- Rajgir- Patna
From Bodhgaya start your journey to Patna the capital of Bihar. On your way, visit the ruins of the ancient Nalanda University. The Buddhist University was established here and from 5th to 12th AD century it was the hub of higher education. On the way to Patna another attractive place to visit is Rajgir another pilgrimage site of the Buddhism. There are quite a few monuments, temples, monasteries to be visited here in Rajgir. Day 3 : Patna- Vaishali- Kushinagar

Day 4 :

Day 5 :
Lumbini- Sravasti
Prince Siddhartha Gautama was born in a royal family and Lumibini is the place where he was born. The early years of prince Gautama was spend in Kapilvastu kingdom. There are quite a few places to visit here and the must see places are Maya Devi temple and Pushkarni Pond. Spend some quality time here take lunch and drive to Sravasti a holy Buddhist pilgrimage. Day 6 : Sravasti- Varanasi

Day 7 : Varanasi- Sarnath
