Day 1 : Chennai
The journey of South India Pilgrimage Tour starts with Chennai. All the arrangements are done by the holidayspoints.com. Day 2 : Tirupati
A good morning starts with good food so after breakfast take a trip of the Chennai city which has some beautiful temples, beaches to look at. From here take a flight to Tirupati. First stop is the hotel and after that visit Tiirupati temple. Tirupati temple is dedicated to Lord Balaji is a holy shrine for the Hindus and located atop the Tirumala Hills. It is an awesome example for Dravidian architecture and outside the temple there is always a long queue of devotees waiting for a glimpse. There are other Tamilnadu temples in this town visit them. Come back to the hotel in the evening and stay overnight.

Day 3 : Tirupati- Chennai
From Tirupati take a flight back to Chennai. Check in the hotel. After this explore and discover the city of Chennai. There are some churches, cathedrals, art and culture centres and some beautiful monuments all over the place. Evening should be spending on the longest beach in the world that is Marina Beach. Day 4 : Chennai- Kanchipuram
Kanchipuram is the seat of Hindu saint Shankaracharya and is one of the old cities of Tamilnadu. This place is just drive away from Chennai. On reaching here check into a hotel. This place is full of temples in fact; it is called the Varanasi of South India. Besides the world famous temples the Kanchipuram silk is also very famous. So people take the best of the opportunity and do some shopping. The heritage of the Kanchipuram silk is 400 years old. Stay overnight and have the best of this place.

Day 5 : Kanchipuram
After a good wealthy breakfast time for religious tour of the Kanchipuram. For the followers of Hinduism this is the best place in South India. There is a Hastigiri or elephant temple which covers 23 acres of land and has some fabulous Tamilnadu temples like Sri Kailasanathar Temple, Sri Vardaraja Perumal Temple. One of the Shakti peethas Sri Kamakshiamman temple is here which you can visit in the second half of the day. The turtle temple Sri Kacchaeswarar temple, Sri Vaikunda Perumal Temple is also famous among tourist. Spend the evening roaming around the market place and pick some souvenirs.

Day 6 : Kanchipuram- Mahabalipuram
Take a Scrumptious breakfast and straight away drive to Mahabalipuram. Located by the Bay of Bengal this city is a world heritage site. On reaching this naturally gifted place check in a hotel. Day 7 : Mahabalipuram

Day 8 : Mahabalipuram- Madurai

Day 9: Madurai

Day 10 : Madurai- Rameshwaram
From Madurai to Rameshwaram there are multiple ways to reach bus, train or simply take the road. Home of a holy Dhams which is located at Pamban Islands which can be reached by crossing Pambal Railway Bridge. There are stories and myths related to this place which is close to Sri Lanka. Stories for Ramayana, Ram, Sita is quite prevalent and popular among locals and tourists. Stay overnight and wait for the better things to happen to you the next day.

Day 11 : Rameshwaram
Rameshwaram temple is the prime tourist attraction of this place. One of the twelve jyotirlingas the deity in this temple is a linga names Sri Ramanatha Swamy. Again it is a sample of Dravidian architecture. Hereafter there is Kothandaraswamy temple and Dhanushkodi to visit. Day 12 : Rameshwaram- Aurovile

Day 14 : Puttaparthi

Day 15 : Puttaparthi- Chennai
