Day 01 : DELHI
Welcome to India! On arrival in Delhi, Holidays Points staff will drive you to your hotel accommodation.

Day 02 : DELHI - MANDAWA (260 kms/6hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing of New Delhi landmarks like India Gate, Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Parliament House and President House. Proceed to Mandawa.

Day 03 : MANDAWA - FATEHPUR - BIKANER (200 kms/4hr)
Mandawa village in Shekahwati region of Rajasthan was a trading outpost for ancient caravans that used to come from China and Middle East. Mandawa Fort was established by Thakur Nawal Singh in 1755 AD. The fort has exquisite carvings and elaborate mirror work. The Durbar Hall of the fort houses a number of antiques and paintings.

Havelis:
Visit prominent havelis of the region like Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli and Bansidhar Newatia Haveli. The havelis have jutting balconies, alcoves and replete patterns.

Afterwards, continue your journey to Bikaner. Proceed to sightseeing of Junagarh Fort, Camel Breeding Farm, and Royal Chhattries in Bikaner.

Day 04 : BIKANER - JAISALMER (330 km/6hr)
After breakfast, visit Karni Mata Temple, also known as Rat Temple. In the temple, you will see thousands of rats which are considered sacred by the people. Later, view sunset in Chhota Bagh.

Day 05 : JAISALMER
After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing of Golden City Fort Palace, also known as Trikut Fort. Walk through the narrow lanes of the fort and imagine about the lifestyle of the royal family. Way down from the fort, see havelis of Patawa, Salam Singh and Nathumal. Stop at Gadisar Lake on way back to hotel and enjoy beautiful view of the fort. Enjoy camel ride afterwards on Sam Sand Dunes.

Day 06 : JAISALMER - JODHPUR - ROHIT (300 km/6hr)
After breakfast, drive down to Jodhpur – the Blue City. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, which is situated on a 125 m high hill. See Coronation Palace, Hall of Haudas, Dancing Hall, Palanquins, Treasury and Armory. Way down from the fort, visit Jaswant Thada. Afterwards, shop in local markets and mingle with locals. Drive to Rohit in evening.

Day 07 : ROHIT - UDAIPUR (240 km/ 6 hrs)
Take jeep safari before breakfast and discover the hidden wildlife of the region. Visit Bishnoi Villages. Bishnoi people are vegetarians and respect life in every form – be it animal, plant or even the dead. Witness the opium ceremony of the rich Patel tribe in which youngsters of the family offer opium drinks to elders when they return back home from the fields.

Afterwards, reach Ranakpur – a pilgrimage center for Jains. Mount Abu is four hours drive from Ranakpur and is famous for its Adinath Temple with 1444 pillars. Afterwards, drive down through the beautiful Aravali Oasis Road and relax in a tent accommodation. In the evening, return back to the hotel.

Proceed to Udaipur. Walk through the villages enroute and mingle with the locals. Reach Udaipur in late evening and check in at your hotel. After breakfast, visit Ranakpur Temple and relax at Kumbhalgarh in late afternoon.

Day 08 : RANAKPUR - UDAIPUR (90 kms/ 2.5 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to “White City” Udaipur. Drive through 900 m high Aravali Mountain Oasis Road. Enjoy sunset boat ride at Pichola Lake.

Day 09 : UDAIPUR
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion of Nagda Temple, also known as Sas – Bahu Temple. Proceed to 16th century Eklanji Temple Complex which houses 108 temples. Visit City Palace Museum, Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar Lake, Fountain Garden, Folk Lore Museum and Miniature Painting School in the evening. Overnight will be at the hotel in Udaipur.

Day 10 : UDAIPUR - CHITTAURGARH - BIJAPUR (140 km/ 3 hrs)
Chittor was founded by Maurya dynasty in 7th century. It remained Mewar capital for 834 years. It is famous in the annals of Mewar Dynasty and is renowned for India’s long Battle of Independence. Proceed to Bijapur Castel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 : BIJAPUR - KOTA
After breakfast, proceed for Fort and Museum of Kota. Shop for its famous mural paintings.

Day 12 : KOTA - BUNDI - JAIPUR (260 km/ 5 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Jaipur – the Pink City. See the Fort of Haura Chauhans at Bundi, known for its mural paintings. Enjoy rickshaw ride in the narrow lanes of the old Jaipur city in the evening.

Day 13 : JAIPUR - AMBER - JAIPUR
Jaipur and Amber region is dotted with several magnificent forts and palaces. After breakfast, proceed for an excursion on elephant back to the 12th century capital of Kachawa Dynasty. Get down by jeep through the ruins of Amber Fort and Amber Palace. Way back to the old city, visit precious stone cutting factory. Visit City Palace Museum in the evening, which is one of the famous Rajasthan Palaces. Other palaces that you will be visiting during your Fort Palaces tour of Rajasthan are Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mansingh Palace, Jodhpur Palace and Rambagh Palace.

Jantar Mantar observatory was built by Sawai Maharaja Jai Singh II in 1727. It has outsized astronomical instruments and one can find local time and observe ascendant of sun using them even today.

Other prominent location to visit during your forts and palaces tour is Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Winds. The palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It has women’s chambers that were meant for the royal ladies to observe the outside world and its processions. There are 953 windows in it that justify its name as the Palace of Wind. Way back to hotel, visit carpet and block printing factory.

Day 14 : JAIPUR - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA (230 m/ 5 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Agra, the capital of erstwhile Mogul Empire. Visit Red Sand Stone Palace wherein Mogul Emperor Akbar spend 20 years of his ruling life.

Day 15 : AGRA
Agra is famous for its white marble monument, the Taj Mahal. The monument is dotted with precious and semi precious stones like black Onex, coral and malakite. In the evening, visit Red Fort of Agra. Afterwards, visit Baby Taj.

Day 16 : AGRA - DELHI (200 km/ 4hr)
After breakfast, proceed for Delhi, enroute will be Sikandara, the grave of Emperor Akbar. Proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi in the evening. Drive past to Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Rajghat – the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Enjoy rickshaw ride in old Delhi.
After farewell dinner, take flight back to your home.
