Day 01 : MUMBAI
Welcome to India! Holidays Points staff will warmly welcome you on arrival in Mumbai on day one of your South India Comprehensive Tour.
Day 02 : MUMBAI
During day long sightseeing the “Dream City” Mumbai, visit Malabar Hills, Hanging Gardens, Elephanta Caves, Prince of Wales Museum and Mani Bhawan.
Day 03 : MUMBAI - BANGALORE
Fly to Bangalore in the morning. Visit Lal Bagh, Vidhan Saudha, and Botanical Gardens which have hundreds of herbal plant varieties.
Day 04 : BANGALORE -MYSORE
Drive to Mysore in the morning. Enroute will be Srirangapatanam, the Summer Palace residence of Tipu Sultan.
Day 05 : MYSORE
Visit Mysore Palace after breakfast. Take excursion to Chamudi Hills in the afternoon. Visit 40 meters high Sri Chamundeswari Temple and rock cut Nandi bull statue.
Day 06 : MYSORE - HASAN
Drive to Hasan via Shravanabelagola, an important Jain pilgrimage center. View 17 meters high statue of Lord Bahubali, carved out of a single piece of rock. In the afternoon, visit 12th century Belur and Halebid temple complexes.
Day 07 : HASAN - COORG
Drive to Coorg in the morning and see coffee plantation fields.
Day 08 : COORG - CALICUT
After breakfast, drive through the thick Calicut (Kozhikode) rainforest. Explore wild life of the rainforest.
Day 09 : CALICUT- COCHIN
Drive to Kochi after breakfast. See Dhows (Typical Kerala handmade boat) enroute. See brightly painted Lorries on the way.

Day 10 : COCHIN
Continue sightseeing of Cochin. Visit Dutch Palace, Vypeen Island and Jewish Synagogue. Watch Kathakali dance in the evening.
Day 11 : COCHIN - KOTAYAM - RICE BOAT
Drive through countryside to Kotayam on eleventh day of your South India Comprehensive Tour. Ride rice boat made of bamboo sticks and husk of coconut to the world famous backwaters of Kerala.
Day 12 : KOTTAYAM - KOVALAM
Disembark rice boat and drive to Kovalam. Stroll on beautiful beaches.
Day 13 : KOVALAM - PERIYAR
Drive to Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Explore the wildlife of the sanctuary. Visit Blue Hills, rubber and tea plantations.
Day 14 : PERIYAR
Explore the wildlife of the sanctuary. Visit spice farms in the evening and enjoy boat ride in Periyar Lake.
Day 15 : MADURAI
On fifteenth day of your South India Comprehensive Tour, drive to Madurai after breakfast. Visit Sri Meenakshi Temple, built in Dravidian architectural style. Visit Hall of 1000 Pillars that has musical columns.
Day 16 : MADURAI - THANJAVUR - PONDICHERRY
Depart to Thanjavur in the morning. Visit 10th century 63 m high Brihadeswara Temple built by Chola Kings. 81 tons Nandi bull statue is monolithic.
Day 17 : PONDICHERRY
Visit Aurobindo Ashram Auroville - The International Township of Harmony.
Day 18 : PONDICHERRY - KANCHIPURAM - MAHABALIPURAM
After breakfast, drive to Kanchipuram – the erstwhile capital of Pallava and Chola Kings on eighteenth day of your South India Comprehensive Tour. Visit Kailashnatha Temple, Shiva Natraj Temple and Ekambeshwara Temple.

Day 19 : MAHABALIPURAM
After breakfast, visit the Group of Five Ratha Temples and Shore Temple in the port city.
Day 20 : CHENNAI
Relax in the morning. After lunch, drive to Saint Thomas Church, Fort St. George High Court Building. Farewell dinner will be hosted by Holidays Points. Your South India Comprehensive Tour is over.
