New Delhi is the political capital of India since old times. It is also known as Indraprastha. By Road: Delhi is well connected by road to all major destinations in North India. The Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) is located at Kashmiri Gate, Sarai Kale-Khan and Anand Vihar. Delhi Transport Corporations of the neighbouring states provide frequent bus services.

Climate October to March would be the appropriate time to visit Delhi. It is always recommended for the tourists to think over their time of journey to enjoy the place completely with no problems regarding climate and so on. About 160 kilometers south of the Himalayas Delhi feels every chilly blast that lashes the snowcapped mountains. The season is marked with light rainfall, frosty winds and an all-enveloping fog.
