Nainital is popular for the its beautiful views, and boat rides. There are so many interesting places in Nanital to visit. Naini Lake is the prime attraction of Nainital. You can enjoy a boat ride on the lake or take a walk around the lake. They're a number of beautiful lakes in and around Nainital. Sat Tal is about 21 kilometers from Nainital and is a group of seven lakes. That is the reason Nanital is known as lake city of India.

Naini Lake: Nainital Town surrounds Naini Tal. Naini Lake is captivating and spellbinding and bears an unruffled aura around it. Also known as the Tri-Rishi Lake, it has boating and yachting facilities at nominal charges.

Naina Devi Temple - Naina Devi is considered to be one of the most revered Hindu temples in India. It is situated on the northern shore of Naini Lake. The presiding deity of this temple is Maa Naini Devi or Mata Sati.

Snow View - Snow View is Located at an elevation of 2,270 m above sea level, it can be reached only by cable cars or hill ponies.

Hanuman Garhi - Baba Neem Kiroli set up Hanuman Garhi at an altitude of 1951 meters. It is particularly famous for offering spectacular views of sunset.

St John's Church - St John's Church is one of the oldest built structures of Nainital.

How to Reach Nainital The hill resort of Nainital is easily accessible. The Airport at Pant Nagar is 71 km away from Nainital. Flights link Pant Nagar with other places like Delhi. From Pant Nagar you may reach Nainital through bus or taxi.

The Kathgodam Railway Station is 35 km from Nainital. It connects Nainital with Delhi, Agra, Bareilly, and Lucknow. From the station you may reach Nainital through bus or taxi.

The excellent road network links Nainital with Delhi, Bareilly, Almora, and Ranikhet. The bus stand of Tallital is just one km from the city center of Nainital.

Best Time to Visit The best time to visit Nanital is certainly the summer months from March to June. The months of September and October are also pleasant to be visited.
