Be sure to take some rest and have a good night sleep as you had a long tiresome day. Also the day ahead is tiring, so take some good rest.

Day 3 Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi National Park

Gorilla trekking is an exciting and unique way to experience the country's wildlife up close. Uganda is home to about half of the world's mountain gorillas, and tracking these magnificent animals is a popular activity for tourists. The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) is the primary organization responsible for managing the activity. When you go gorilla tracking, you'll be accompanied by a UWA guide who will lead you through the forest. The goal is to find a group of gorillas that are habituated to humans, which means they are used to seeing people and are not afraid of them. Habituated gorilla groups are located in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Tracking gorillas is a physically demanding activity, as it involves hiking through dense forest vegetation. However, it is an incredibly rewarding experience, and you're sure to have memories that will last a lifetime. Therefore, get ready for a really exciting day in the forest. Be sure to carry water bottles and some snacks with you as its not going to be easy to track the Gorillas The group will be accompanied by a UWA guide and will trek through the forest in search of the gorillas. This is an amazing experience as the gorillas are very shy animals and it is not easy to spot them. Once you have found the gorillas, you will be able to watch them and take photographs. This is a once in a lifetime experience and something that everyone should do at least once. The time spent in this activity is variable but its going to take around 6 to 8 hours. After the Gorilla tracking, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Your 6 days Uganda Safari adventure will continue tomorrow...

Day 4 Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth Park is known for its abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, and leopards. The park is located in the west of the country and covers an area of almost 2,000 square miles. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, and hippos. There are also a number of different activities that visitors can enjoy, such as game drives, boat trips, and hikes. After having your breakfast, your journey towards the park will begin. The drive from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park takes you through the town of Ishasha, where you can see the iconic tree-climbing lions. Be sure to keep your camera handy as you never know when you'll spot one of these big cats! Continuing on from Ishasha, you'll enter Queen Elizabeth National Park around evening. The park is huge, so you'll want to plan which areas you want to explore in advance. Many visitors opt to go on safari drives or walks, where they can see the wildlife up close. You can also enjoy an evening game drive where you will see various animals. No matter how you choose to spend your time in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you're sure to have an unforgettable Uganda safari experience.

Day 5 Boat Cruise and Kyambura Gorge

Kyambura Gorge is a popular tourist destination for its wildlife and scenic views. The national park is home to several lions, elephants, and gorillas, making it a perfect spot for safari-goers. Kyambura Gorge also offers several hiking trails with breath-taking views of the surrounding landscape. Well, after your breakfast, you will head towards Kyambura Gorge. The wildlife of this gorge is spectacular. The Chimpanzees of Kyambura Gorge are a fascinating and rare species. They can be observed for over two to three hours as they go about their daily lives, exploring the trees below them in search for food or just taking some time out from all that walking! You might also spot monkeys swinging through branches high up on these giant trees. There are many other animals here too such us birds baboons jackals leopards pythons vultures eagles falcons tigers lions rabbits oh yeah...and more!!! Then, you will return to your lodge and have lunch there. Now prepare yourself for a boat cruise on Kazinga Canal. One of the best ways to see Uganda's wildlife is by taking a cruise on the Kazinga Canal. The Kazinga Canal is a man-made waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George in Uganda. It is about 40 kilometers long and 2 meters deep. The canal was built in 1954 to help with transportation between the two lakes. But today, the Kazinga Canal is also a popular tourist destination, because it is home to a large number of wildlife. Many animals come to the canal to drink and bathe, so it is a great place to see them up close. During the cruise, you will see many different animals, including hippos, crocodiles, and elephants. You may even see the rare African leopard. You will return to your accommodation and have dinner there.

Today is the end of your 6 Days Uganda Safari trip. After your breakfast, you will head back towards Entebbe International Airport. With loads of memories on your mind, you are sure to have an unforgettable experience on this Safari.

Lifelong memories

We were part of a group of 17 who quickly formed a close bond created entirely by the enthusiasm and generosity of our leader. Nothing was too much trouble Long went out of his way every day to make sure we experienced in full life in Vietnam. The trip ran like clockwork, without us feeling we were being rushed at any stage. He made it fun even when we cycled 100 k in a day taking in a very high mountain pass.

The customer service before departure was excellent, the organisation from start to finish was excellent, the accommodation was better than expected, the group leader was excellent, the itinerary was excellent. As a solo female traveller I felt completely comfortable with the rest of the group whether they were traveling alone, with friends or with partners. The mix of activities, geographical locations, sights, sounds, terrain and communities left you feeling like you had experienced and encountered Vietnam, its history, its people and its landscape.

Another exciting adventure with Exodus

Another exciting adventure with this tour company. Our trip was at the end of April/beginning of May and it was very hot !!!! I'm told June/July is even hotter. Phew !!!!Despite this I loved every minute of it.It was a very busy trip but extremely well organised. I very much liked the additional drink stops as it was so very hot. Home made chilled lime was just the thing. I also very much liked Lam pre-booking the meals and us all going together. He found some wonderful places and we had delicious fresh food. There just isn't time to find somewhere yourself. This really worked well.We were lucky to be with a super group of people. Everyone happy and smiling and enjoying every moment..................well................except a few of the group who did get a bit sore. Please do get yourself some chamois butter and padded pants. It works a treat. It worked well having all the cycling in the beginning. The train was much better than I had expected and I slept like a log !!! Whale Island and Halong Bay were real treats and I would have loved more time there. But, overall, the trip was perfect for timing as it kept us within the 15 day Visa limit and we saw and did so much.Despite being informed in writing by the tour operator that our big holdalls/suitcase stays with us all the time......this was not the case. You do need to have a rucksack or flat pack bag big enough for the one and two night stays (Whale Island and Halong Bay). In fact......it works very well to just take small luggage. Much easier to do once you get your head around it.I found the cycling easy compared with other trips I've done but I do feel it is right to be called a Level 3. Everyone cycles slightly differently and there is always a bit of a mix of abilities........which makes for a good group cycle I think.
