The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) is the primary organization responsible for managing the activity. When you go gorilla tracking, you'll be accompanied by a UWA guide who will lead you through the forest. The goal is to find a group of gorillas that are habituated to humans, which means they are used to seeing people and are not afraid of them. Tracking gorillas is a physically demanding activity, as it involves hiking through dense forest vegetation. However, it is an incredibly rewarding experience, and you're sure to have memories that will last a lifetime. Therefore, get ready for a really exciting day in the forest. Be sure to carry water bottles and some snacks with you as its not going to be easy to track the Gorillas The group will be accompanied by a UWA guide and will trek through the forest in search of the gorillas.
