It is also worthwhile to visit a favorite tourist site to see the numerous well-preserved clay fortresses, commonly known as Kasbahs, that the Berbers initially built to protect themselves from enemies. When you get to Tineghir with its gorgeous palm grove, you'll keep on and wander along the 300-meter-high canyons there. This is surely a unique place for mountaineers. The stone walls in this place are highly unusual since they can change color every day. Particularly towards dusk, the canyon's sides begin to turn from orange to light. The next place you'll see is Ifrane, which is situated on the northern slope of the Middle Atlas at 1630 meters above sea level. Due to its broad avenues, spotless urban development, gardens, open areas, and architecture, this city is said to resemble a Swiss town. Ifrane feels out of place in Morocco.
