8 days tour from Casablanca

We continue our 8-day tour from Casablanca after breakfast. We'll start by travelling to Rabat, which is currently the capital of Morocco. We'll stop by the major sights, such the Hassan tower, here. It is thought that it was intended to be the tallest building in the world, but it was never finished since the idea's owner died. We will have the opportunity to look at the former royal family's mausoleum at Rabat's most prominent landmark, which is close to the tower. Then, we relocated to the Royal Palace, the home of the current Royal family. Next, a trip to the mosque, which is located on a cliff overlooking the Oua River. We are going to another imperial city after touring Rabat. The capital of the Ismailis at this period is Meknes. In this city, there are many sights to see. We'll stop in at Volubilis along the trip, the oldest Roman settlement south of Morocco, where you can see the splendour of the Roman Empire and see the lovely mosaics in the abandoned villas. After that, we'll traverse Meknes city and wander through the Medina and El Hedim plaza. You will arrive in the city of Meknes a few kilometers from the Roman remains. We'll go to Lhdim Square in this city, which is smaller than Jamaa El-Fna Square. One of the largest doors or gates in the world, Bab Mansour, is located next to the latter. You will also visit other locations in Meknes, including as the enigmatic underground prison known as Qara. Many legends claim that the Qara jail extends miles underground and enters the city of Fes. Finally, as evening falls, we'll leave Meknes and travel to Fes where we'll spend the night so you can unwind and prepare for your next day of exploring the city.

Following breakfast, you will be greeted by a local guide who will accompany you on a local tour. As we navigate through the historic city, Old Fès feels like going back in time. The city still has its calming tradition of a traditional, old way of life. You will go to the renowned gate known as the Abou Jloud, which is the best entrance to the Medina. Then, continuing with one of the oldest universities in the world, the Quebec University. Then, a brief descent to the Adrassia Inania. Finest theological college in Fez. Visit the Zaouia of Moulay Idriss II first, then head to the tranquil Dar Batha Museum. We then take a stroll around the oldest market in the city, the Sedina Souks, where Fez's most distinctive handcrafted goods are displayed everywhere. You'll also observe Moroccan traditional crafts in the pottery cooperative. Your journey toward the mountains continues. One of the most iconic sights in Fez and a natural process that has used nearly the same techniques for high-quality leather since mediaeval times. The Big Chouara Tanneries, the metalworking Medersa Seffarin, and other beautifully designed architectural wonders including the Attarin Medersa and the Najarian Fountain. Your guide is always available if you have anything else you want to see or learn about in the city. We'll take you to the Merenids' graves in the afternoon so you can take in the picturesque panorama of the Medina. After the tour, our guide will make the short walk to your riad in Fes. After breakfast on day 4th of this 8 days tour from Casablanca, you'll set out for the desert via the Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane along the way to visit the Azrou cedar forests, which are home to wild monkeys. It will be a wonderful chance to interact with them and snap pictures of them. To get to the small town of Rich, Erfoud, where you will feel the beginning of the Sahara, and then on to Merzouga, you continue across the Atlas Mountains, passing through Midelt. At Midelt, smack in the center of the Atlas Mountains, you'll make one more stop. Here, you'll have some free time to have lunch and take a break. At the camp, there are simple mattresses and carpeted tents for sleeping. If you are single, you will be sleeping in a same-sex tent. If you are a pair, they will place you with the other couples. This is done for religious reasons since unmarried men and single women are not allowed to share a room. The camp here is strange. You can either explore the endless sand dunes or rent some additional equipment, such a quad or sandboard.

You'll leave the huge desert after breakfast in the hotel and travel to Rissani, which used to be a key halting site for Saharan caravans. You'll have the opportunity to explore the souk, the largest in the region if our arrival time falls during the Thursday and Sunday day markets. Then, from Merzouga, you'll take to the Todra Gorges. On the journey to the Todra Georges, you will see a lot of beautiful places. The location is Erfoud. Erfoud is well known for its stones, crystals, and fossils. These stones and fossils can be purchased from a variety of stores in this town. After exploring Erfoud for some time, you will be taken to the Todra Georges. Todra Georges is a town located in the High Atlas highlands. There is a well-known canyon there. Both rock climbing and hiking are very popular there. You'll be given the choice of taking a walk or going on a trek. The Dades Valley will be the next place you travel through on your tour. The "monkie fingers" rock formations can be seen in Dades Valley. Then you'll be taken by car to Boumaln Dades. You'll spend the night in Boumaln Dades' hotel. After breakfast, we'll carry on with our tour toward Marakech. You will travel through Imgun Valley or the Valley of Roses and Skoura Lakes. One of Morocco's most aristocratic Mosques, the famous Mridil Asbahs from the 17th century, are a lovely stop in the Asses. Our route continues through the city that is known as Inema Capital of Morocco since it is a backdrop for numerous international movies and series. Before travelling for a few more kilometres to reach the famous Kasbahs of Ait Ben-Haddou, we will stop at the Ouarzazate, one of the city's main attractions. Unprotected red mud brick village with most of its structures dating to the time of the caravan’s era in the eleventh century. His certified village also serves as a significant location for numerous well-known movies and television shows like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Then, as we traverse the high Atlas Mountains on our way to Marrakech, we'll enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the 2260-meter-high Sizi N'tichka Pass. As soon as we arrive, we will drop you off to your lodging outside of Sarroukh. Late at night at Riad Aialou in Marrakech.

After breakfast in the riad, you will enjoy a morning guided tour of Marrakech "the Red City of Morocco". Finally, we'll stop at the busy Jemaah el Fna plaza, which is well-known for its numerous vendors selling water dressed in traditional attire, snakes, orange juice, and henna art. While enjoying your lunch break on one of the terraces with a panoramic view, unwind and take in the sights of the energetic crowds below. A short walk takes you to another of Morocco's top sights, Adii Alасе, a beautiful 16th century ruin. Then, your guide will take you to the Saadiаn tombs. After dinner, you can walk through the square and be entertained by magicians, storytellers, tooth-pullers, and food vendors. Finally, your riad will provide overnight lodging.
