In the first day of your 8 days Uganda Safari, you will be picked up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel and then driven to Murchison Falls National Park. You will some of the beautiful site that Uganda has to offer and you will also have lunch along the way. At the everning, you will have reached finally You the Falls. Murchison Falls is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Uganda. The falls are located on the Victoria Nile, between Lake Albert and Lake Victoria. Murchison Falls is one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world, with a drop of more than 150 feet, they are a spectacular sight, and the surrounding area is home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, and hippos. This destination is a must-see for you. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodges.
After breakfast, you can hike to the top of the falls and enjoy the stunning scenery from there. You will get a 360 degree view from the top. Later on, you can participate in the game drives at the park. It is home to a variety of wildlife including lions, giraffes, elephants, hippos, and crocodiles. You will get a chance to see this wildlife from up close. At evening, you will take a boat cruise on Victoria Nile. The river runs through the country's capital, Kampala, and provides a scenic backdrop for city life. Boat rides are a great way to relax and take in the sights of Uganda. The river is home to many different kinds of wildlife, and you might even spot some hippos or crocodiles! If you're lucky, you might even see one of the rarer African animals, such as the okapi or the bongo. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
After having breakfast, we will continue towards Kibale National Park. You will have lunch along the way and then continue on with the journey. Arriving at the park late in the evening, you will check in your lodge and have dinner. Take some good rest as a hectic day ahead is waiting.
Situated in the heart of Uganda's rainforest, Kibale National Park is home to a great diversity of primates and other wildlife. The park's forest Reserve is a designated UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and its swampy crater lakes are popular tourist destinations. Kibale is also known for its abundant birdlife, including the rare Shoebill. Kibale National Park was established in 1993 to protect the area's unique ecosystem and wildlife. The park is home to 13 species of primates, including chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys, and Lhotse’s monkeys. It also has a large population of forest elephants. Other animals that can be found there include leopards, African wild dogs, and several species of antelope. The park's forest Reserve is a mosaic of different habitats, including swamp forest, bamboo forest, and gallery forest. These diverse habitats support a variety of plant and animal life. After having breakfast, your activity of Chimpanzees tracking will begin. Led by a guide, you will wander around the park to find the chimpanzees. Once you find them, you can spend some time enjoying the wild life. Bird- watching is also another popular activity at the park as it is home to over 375 bird species, including the African green broadbill and the great blue turaco. You can enjoy the chirping of birds as well. After lunch, you will set on your journey towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. Once there, you will check-in your lodge and have dinner.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is a national park located in Uganda. It was established in 1954 and covers an area of 1,978 square kilometres. The park is home to a variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, and buffalo. Moreover, it holds over 500 species of birds and more than 200 000 people visit it each year. The park is named after Queen Elizabeth II who visited it in 1954, but was originally known as Kazinga National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in western Uganda. It is bordered by Lake Edward to the north, Lake George to the east, and the Rwenzori Mountains to the west. It is situated between two major African Rift Valley lakes, making it a unique and biodiverse area. You journey will start after breakfast as you will enjoy a game drive. Here, you will have the opportunity to interact and spend time with the wildlife of Uganda. With your driver and guide, you will see lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and more. After lunch, you will have some rest. Then, you will head for a boat ride in Kazinga Canal. It is a waterway located in Uganda. It connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is approximately 41 miles long. The channel is home to a variety of wildlife, including hippopotamuses, crocodiles, and elephants. Boat tours are the best way to see the wildlife up close, and to experience the beauty of the channel. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
After breakfast, you will leave for Bwindi National Park. Its a long journey but you will enjoy different landscapes that will take your breath away. You will have multiple stops along the way to take pictures and enjoy the beauty of mother nature. You will also have launch before your continue your way to Bwindi Park. By the end of the day, you will have reached your destination and you will enjoy some Uganda’s tasty food.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a national park in Uganda that was established in 1991. The park is located in the south-western part of the country, on the edge of the Rift Valley. It currently covers an area of 321 square kilometers (124 square miles) and is home to a variety of wildlife, including primates, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. It is also home to the critically endangered mountain gorilla, of which there are only an estimated 400 individuals left in the wild. Gorillas are critically endangered species at the moment and only few remain; some of which can be found at Bwindi Forest. One of the best things to know about the park is that it works to conserve the mountain gorillas through a number of initiatives. These include anti-poaching patrols, habituation programmes (which help gorillas get used to the presence of humans), and education and awareness-raising campaigns. The park is also working to promote sustainable livelihoods for the local community, so that they do not have to rely on the park's resources. After having breakfast in the morning, you will be briefed about the activity for the day. It can be really challenging as it may take 6 to 8 hours. The Gorillas inhabit various locations and UWA guide will lead you there. Once you find the Gorillas, all your tiredness will go away. You will be amazed to witness these Giant animals. Afterwards, you will continue you 8 days Uganda safari towards Lake Bunyonyi arriving there late in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodges.
Lake Bunyonyi is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Uganda. The lake is located in southwestern Uganda, close to the border with Rwanda. It is Africa's deepest freshwater lake, and one of its most scenic. Bunyonyi means "place of many little birds" in the local language, and the lake is indeed home to a wide variety of bird species. After having breakfast in the morning, you can enjoy various activities at the lake including swimming, canoeing, and hiking in the beautiful surroundings. As it is the last day of your 8 days Uganda Safari tour, after spending some time at the lake, you will leave for Entebbe International Airport to fly home; or at your hotel in the city preparing to leave Uganda. This safari is a trip you are going to remember and cherish for years.
