5-day Tanzania Safari is our typical 5-day safari which includes wildlife viewing (game drives) at a more relaxed pace.
This safari starts and ends in Arusha which is the base town for all safaris we offer in Northern Tanzania. you will have the opportunity to visit all the most famous parks of the Northern Tanzania Safari Circuit, namely; Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Endless Plains of Serengeti National Park.Â
A classic 5 day safari in Tanzania like this gives you the opportunity to experience all that this beautiful country has to offer in terms of wildlife and exoticism. Serengeti National Park is the second largest after Ruaha National Park, but the most famous on the northern circuit as it is home to the wildebeest migration, which sees over a million herds of wildebeest accompanied by over 400,000 Thomson’s gazelles, 300,000 zebras, and around 12,000 elands reflected on the endless plains that eventually make their way to the Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya in search of fresh grass and water.
The result is an annual world-famous animal show in which the animals dare to confront the dangerously infested Nile crocodile in the Mara River, a phenomenon often referred to as “the great wildebeest migration“.
Thousands of other animals roam the Serengeti throughout the year and that’s not all. This program takes you to the equally famous wildlife reserve in the world and to a UNESCO World Heritage Center; The Ngorongoro Crater, which is actually a large caldera resulting from the collapse of a huge ancient volcano.
It is believed to be taller than Mount Kilimanjaro, which is Africa’s tallest and highest mountain. To add the icing on the cake, start by visiting Tarangire National Park, a vast park (the fifth largest in Tanzania) where you expect to see plenty of games, big and small, including rare ones like the gerenuks at long neck and oryx. .
